WHY RESOLVE?

More Engagement

See up to 11x more feedback from people reviewing BIM models in VR than in screen-sharing sessions. Perform design reviews at full scale to get better feedback from O&M teams.

Reduce Costly Surprises

With Resolve, teams go from 10 OpEx issues discovered to over 100. Facilities teams with first time access to the model can put their experience to work. With average issues costing $5,000, projects can see half-a-million dollars in savings or more.

Increase Transparency

Give better model access to stakeholders who usually take a back seat in the review process. With Resolve, users don’t need complex 3D desktop software or screen-share’s to review the model.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How is Resolve different from other VR apps in the construction and design space?

Our custom technology powering Resolve can open huge BIM files in a wireless Oculus Quest. No sectioning or model prep necessary. Other Quest apps will run at low frame-rates or even crash when handling similar model sizes. In order to connect operations teams to design teams we believe it’s necessary to have both wireless headsets and large models. Hence, Resolve.

What size model can Resolve handle?

So far we’ve tested with up to 500 million polygons. We’ve opened a 1.6GB Navisworks file and 10gb Revit file.

I requested Early Access, when can I try it?

Right now we’re prioritizing building owners who need help connecting their operations teams to the design and construction process. If your work on a complex industrial asset like a Data Center, Wind Farm, Energy, Water or Manufacturing facility please let us know.

What file types does Resolve accept?

Any BIM file hosted on Autodesk BIM 360 Docs, which supports 70+ different file formats. We’ve tested Navisworks (NWD), Revit (RVT), and Smartplant (VUE) files.

Which VR headsets does Resolve support?

Resolve only supports the Oculus Quest. There is a PC companion app to join and follow meetings from your computer if you cannot use a VR headset.

Is this better than using an Oculus Link cable?

Yes. Resolve doesn’t require a connection to an external gaming computer. This makes VR easily accessible from anywhere and saves teams the stress of complex set ups - it just works.
